In 2020 GILconceives and develops the Escultóricas Performances project, in which he expresses, through sculptures, a synthesis of his look at the performances of various artists in the field of performance. During this creative process of interpretation, the works gain autonomy and independence, with the artist's own narrative and his sculptural poetics. 

 

From this concept, in 2022, The Tree Woman - Sculptural Performance is exhibited at the Fernanda Monteiro Art Gallery in Sorocaba - SP, inspired by the performance of the artist Silvana Sarti, curated by the artist Fernanda Monteiro.

 

It is important for the artist in his production process that the conceptual basis of the work and the material with which each group of works is finished are intimately connected. The Tree Woman, in which nature is the focal point, is finished in plasticine, a material usually used in modeling exercises and discarded or reused in new modeling exercises, but which was kept as the final material because it retains a strong symbolism with the fragility inherent to the theme that the artist proposes to represent.
